MALDEN — Lillian M. (Dana) Cabral, 90, of Malden, formerly Melrose and Stoneham, died unexpectedly on September 1, 2018.

Lillian was born in Boston and raised in Dorchester. She resided in Melrose for many years, Stoneham for 15 years and the past 30 years in Malden. Lillian was a homemaker who loved spending time with her family. She was the epitome of grace and class, and exemplified creativity. She maintained a youthful attitude and had a great sense of humor. Lillian was a fantastic chef and a wonderful story teller. She appreciated beauty and depth in many things. She loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. They were the most important part of her life.

Lillian was the beloved wife of the late Edward Cabral for many years. Loving mother of Karin Moore and her husband John of Somerville, Daye Haberek and her husband Samuel of R.I., Craig Cabral and his wife Ellen of Malden, Stephen Cabral of North Reading, Dana Cabral and his wife Kristin of Methuen and the late Edward Cabral, Jr. Cherished grandmother of Scott Pepe of Wakefield, Tiffany Mendez of R.I., Dana Cabral, Jr. and Adan Cabral, both of Methuen. Great-grandmother of Zackery Pepe and Lucia Mendez. Caring sister of the late Dorothy Blackwell, Marion Flaherty and Frederick C. Dana. Also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
