NORTH ANDOVER — Margaret C. (Dwyer) Enos, 100, passed away at Melrose-Wakefield Hospital on June 22, 2018.
Margaret was born in Malden on March 7, 1918 to the late Matthew and Margaret (O’Gorman) Dwyer. She was raised in Malden and a graduate of Cheverus High School in Malden. Margaret was a homemaker and resided in Melrose from 1949-1965, Andover for many years and the past 20 years in North Andover. Margaret loved painting, cooking and the Boston Red Sox. She enjoyed traveling all over the country, Europe, Ireland, Mexico and wintered in Brooksville, Fla.
Margaret was the beloved wife of the late James B. Enos. Loving mother of James B. Enos, Jr, and his wife Claire of Andover, Dianne Rideout of Melrose, Richard Enos and his wife Joan of N.H. and the late Joanne Barrett and her late husband George. Cherished grandmother of 12 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. Also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Visiting hours were held at the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St., Melrose on Tuesday, June 26, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary’s Church, 9 Herbert St., Melrose. Relatives and friends were respectfully invited to attend. Burial in Wyoming Cemetery, Melrose.
