MELROSE — Mark E. Beauchesne, 50, a lifelong resident of Melrose, passed away surrounded by his family after a fearless battle with cancer at home on Monday, June 3, 2019.

Mark was born in Winchester on June 27, 1968. He was raised in Stoneham and Melrose and graduated from Melrose High School, Class of 1986. He was married to Meredith Tibbetts in Melrose on December 3, 1994, and settled in Melrose to raise a family of four. Mark worked as a laborer/foreman for Laborers Local #22 for 25 years.

Mark was a passionate Boston sports fan, and enjoyed attending many Celtics games with his children. He also had a love for food, especially baked goods, and Hood milk. He loved attending the activities of all his children, and was forever proud of their achievements. Strong willed and proud, Mark never backed down from any challenge. With the help of his friends and coworkers, he built the family home in Melrose. In his free time, he enjoyed playing poker, going on family vacations, and cherished his three sheepdogs, Jezibel, Skyler and Pippa.

Fun loving and adventurous, Mark loved spending time at the family cottage on Lake Winnipesaukee. He enjoyed many weekends with his family jet skiing, boating on the lake, and doing back flips off the dock.

A dedicated member of Local #22, Mark built lasting friendships with his coworkers. Mark was always willing to lend a hand and had an open door for anyone in need. Through his loyalty and big heart, he made an enormous impact on the lives of those closest to him.

A source of great strength for his family, Mark will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on in the hearts of his family.

The Beauchesne Family wishes to extend heartfelt thanks to Dr. Matthew Brown from Tufts MelroseWakefield Hospital for his compassion, friendship and exemplary care provided by him and his staff of nurses.

Mark was the beloved husband of Meredith L. (Tibbetts) Beauchesne with whom he shared 24 years of marriage. Devoted father of Daniel E. Beauchesne, Andrew D. Beauchesne, Brooke F. Beauchesne, and the late Courtney Elyse Beauchesne, all of Melrose. Cherished son of Linda Casey and her husband Greg of Manchester, N.H., and the late Edward Beauchesne. Loving brother of Kimberly Ricci and Jenniffer McLaughlin, both of Woburn, and the late Charles Beauchesne. Caring son-in-law of Douglas and Jean Tibbetts of Melrose, and brother-in-law of Amy O’Meara and her husband Kevin of Chelmsford. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
