SOMERVILLE — Paul M. Zirpolo, 70, of Somerville, died at the Dedham Healthcare in Dedham on May 17, 2018.

Paul was born in Malden, raised in Somerville and a graduate of Somerville High School. He proudly served his country in the U. S. Navy, serving two tours of duty in Vietnam. After returning from Vietnam, he was a lifelong Somerville resident, worked as a Project Manager for the City of Somerville, where he was in charge of the Somerville High School renovations, the Teal Square Fire Station, West Somerville Community School and also the Healy School projects. Paul was an avid reader, enjoyed golfing and traveled the world while in the Navy.

Paul was the beloved husband of Elaine S. (Burgess) Zirpolo. Loving father of Kerry Zirpolo and her husband Joe Squires of Melrose and Erin Trigilio and her husband Eric of Boylston. Cherished grandfather of Max Squires, Mia and Aria Trigilio. Also survived by brothers, sisters, relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be held at the Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St., Melrose on Sunday, June 3, at 11a.m. Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend. Burial will be private.
