MALDEN — Tanya M. Clement, 47, a lifelong resident of Malden, passed away suddenly due to complications of the flu, at home on January 13, 2018. 

Tanya was born in Teaneck, New Jersey on August 24, 1970, and raised in Malden. She graduated from Malden High School, Class of 1988. She received her undergraduate degree in Economics from Stanford, her master’s degree in Education from Harvard, and her law degree from Suffolk. She had recently entered a graduate program at Boston University to specialize in taxation litigation. Tanya was a kind, bright, opinionated woman who was sensitive to others needs. She will be forever remembered but dearly missed by her family and friends.

Tanya was the beloved daughter of Lorna L. (Williams) Clement and the late Furman Clement. Cherished granddaughter of the late Ella Graham. She is also survived by extended family, and friends.
