PHOTO: Catch of the day

DAVE NEMETH was up at Mount Hood Wednesday morning around 7:15 and hooked this beautiful smallmouth bass in First Pond. Police Chief Mike Lyle was walking his two cavachons, Bailey and Fenway, and witnessed the catch. Dave brought the fish just about to shore when it wiggled off his line. Undeterred, he jumped in and grabbed the fish with his hands, posed with his catch and eventually released it back into the water.
