WAKEFIELD — The Rotary Club of Wakefield has received a grant from the Rotary Foundation to offer a free Youth Mental Health First Aid Course for Wakefield residents and educators.

This two-night interactive program is for parents and adults who work with youth of all ages. The course introduces participants to the unique risk factors and warning signs of mental health problems and addiction disorders.

The eight-hour course will be held Nov. 30 and Dec. 2 at Lucius Beebe Library’s Community Room from 5 to 9 p.m. each night.

Professional development points are available for educators (must attend both nights).

A free light dinner is included with registration.
