LAWRENCE — Mildred R. (Lanzillo) Crowley passed away in the comfort and care at Merrimack Valley Hospice in Lawrence on Jan. 29, 2016. She was 82 years of age.

Mildred was born in Chelsea on April 9 to the late Anthony and Regina (Bednarek) Lanzillo. She was raised in Chelsea and graduated from St. Stanislowski High School. Mrs. Crowley lived in Chelsea for many years and Peabody for over 28 years. Mildred worked at a secretary for the M. Bernstein Scrap Metal Company in Chelsea for 32 years. Mrs. Crowley enjoyed going to the Chelsea Moose to play cards, spending time at Rock Pond in New Hampshire as well as doing crossword puzzles and watching old movies and westerns.

Mildred was the loving mother of Kevin M. Crowley and his wife Kelly of Londonderry, N.H. and the late Charles A. Crowley Jr. and his wife Sheryl Crowley of New Hampshire. She was the grandmother of Shannon and Ryan Crowley and Charles Crowley.

Service and burial at Woodlawn Cemetery in Everett will be private. Memorial contributions may be made in Mildred’s name to Merrimack Valley Hospice, 360 Merrimack St., Lawrence MA 01843. Arrangements by The Gately Funeral Home of Melrose.
