IT WAS A COLD but stunningly clear twilight before sunrise. The super blue blood moon turned redder as it lowered in the sky before the dawn. You can see the start of the lunar eclipse in the upper left of the moon. The magical orb reflected into the frozen lake making evident the lake’s wind striped ice and snow surface. The colors of the cool indigo sky held onto the snow and the moon’s “Blood” reflection shimmered on icy patches creating a vivid complementary pattern. Then in a matter of minutes the moon quickly slipped beneath the horizon. We are so lucky to have such a beautiful lake.
