Former executive secretary

NORTH READING — Nancy (Koen) Cloherty, of North Reading, formerly of Lynnfield and Lunenburg, passed away on Oct. 20, 2015. She was 78 years old.
Nancy was born on Oct. 1, 1937 in Dorchester to Philip J. and Catherine (Callahan) Koen. She worked for many years as an executive secretary at Crocker Technical Paper in Fitchburg. She enjoyed movies, reading and going to museums. She loved the ocean and had a strong faith in God. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her loving grandchildren.
Nancy was the devoted mother of Lisa Cloherty and Erin Cloherty and her husband Ralph. She was the cherished grandmother of Cameron Greenwald and Mia Greenwald. Nancy was the longtime companion of Michael Curran.
A funeral service celebrating Nancy’s eternal life was held on Friday, Oct. 23, in the Doherty-Barile Family Funeral Home, 11 Linden St., Reading.
