WAKEFIELD — Police and the Fire Department responded to the scene of a two-car crash near 614 North Ave. at about 12:30 p.m. yesterday. There were no reported injuries, but one of the vehicles was towed. No citations were issued.

At about 9 a.m. yesterday, a Hickory Hill Road woman reported a sick raccoon sitting in her driveway. The Animal Control Officer was notified.

At about 11 a.m. yesterday a Lowell Street woman reported that her car was broken into overnight and some paperwork was missing from her wallet.

Just after 1 p.m. yesterday, a North Avenue property owner reported damage a rear screen door of a building.

A Northeast Metro Tech student reported being in a minor accident in the parking lot at the end of the school day yesterday. The student said that she was parked in a student parking area when another student struck her car while backing out of a parking space. The student reporting the accident was requesting police assistance as the other involved student had left the area after they spoke following the accident.

The School Resource Officer will assist both students with the paper exchange today.
