NORTH READING — The next North Reading Community Coffeehouse/Open Mic night will be held on Saturday, May 19 at 7 p.m., in the Activity Room of the Flint Memorial Library at 147 Park Street.

“We continue to get more appreciative and music-loving audience members as well as talented performers who help provide a great evening of entertainment. We hope you are getting much enjoyment out of it and will continue to come back and give us your support,” Coffeehouse founder Art Grossman told the Transcript.

Nearly 40 musicians and music-lovers attended last month’s coffeehouse.

Even if you cannot make it but would like to see what the Coffeehouse/Open Mic is about and watch and listen to the fine entertainment, NORCAM, the North Reading Cable Access records it for airing on the local cable channels (Comcast – Channel 8 and Verizon – Channel 26) and also makes each performance available on YouTube.

Please go to www.Norcam.org to get more information regarding the broadcast dates and you can find them on YouTube under “North Reading Community Coffeehouse.”

“We hope to see you on Saturday,” Grossman said.
