Hornet HOF inductees announced

NORTH READING — The North Reading High School Hornet Hall of Fame committee has selected the following formidable athletes and contributors to be inducted into its eighth class:

Athletes

•Jack Creilson, 1958     

• Tim Courossi, 1978

• Scott Ellis, 1983

• Brian Mawn, 1994     

• James Keck, 1995

• Kevin Distaso, 2006

• Alison Friberg, 2009

• Kirsten Morrison, 2011 

Community service: Dan Nunn, 2007 (North Reading Transcript sports reporter) and John Friberg (North Reading Transcript sports photographer)

HOF team: 2007 State Champion Volleyball team.

 The Hall of Fame Committee invites everyone to attend and celebrate their accomplishments at its October 2019 banquet. Ticket information and venue will be announced in February.
