The fall sports regular season is fast approaching at North Reading High. Most Hornet teams will embark on their regular season schedules next week after Labor Day.
The golf team was the first to start their full season with a win over Amesbury on Tuesday. They played at Pentucket on Wednesday and hosted Triton Thursday.
Previews and a master schedule for fall sports will appear next week.
North Reading still has a few days of scrimmages coming up this week/weekend. The following is a list of upcoming NRHS varsity scrimmages:

Field Hockey: at Georgetown, 4:30 p.m.
Boys’ Soccer: vs. Bedford, 5 p.m.
FRIDAY, SEPT. 2
Boys’ Soccer: at Wilmington, 10 a.m.
Girls’ Soccer: vs. Stoneham, 10 a.m.
Football: at Wakefield, 4 p.m.
SATURDAY, SEPT. 3
Girls’ Soccer: at North Andover, 9 a.m.
Boys’ Soccer: at Reading, 10 a.m.
