AMESBURY — The NRHS boys’ basketball team picked up their third win of the season, 59-56 on the road against Amesbury last Friday night. It was North Reading’s second consecutive victory as they won the week before against Pentucket.

The Hornets were led by junior captain Cody Cannalonga who finished with 25 points. Senior captain Will Taylor had another strong all around game and senior Robert Tammaro and junior John Jennings came through in the clutch at the free throw line to seal it for the Hornets. 

North Reading’s game against Triton scheduled for Tuesday was postponed to this Friday due to the weather. The Hornets and Vikings will tip off at 5:45 p.m. at NRHS.
