Senior captain Joanna Kellogg and sophomore Sophia Galuppo picked up a goal and an assist. Senior captain Kiley McCarthy added a goal while Prusik potted two assists.

DiNapoli got the offense rolling early as she scored in the 12th and 15th minutes to quickly put North Reading in front 2-0.

After Kellogg made it 3-0 with her tally in the 38th minute, the Tigers got on the board right before the half to make it 3-1 at the break.

In the second half, McCarthy and Galuppo padded the lead and NRHS cruised.

Tie Amesbury

The Hornets were still looking for that first victory after picking up their third tie of the season on a 1-1 draw against the Amesbury Indians Thursday. Senior captain Alyssa Prusik scored the lone NRHS goal.

After a scoreless first half, Prusik scored just under two minutes into the second half to put North Reading ahead.

Unfortunately, the Indians answered with the tying goal in the 47th minute to force the draw.
