NORTH READING —Come join us. The North Reading Republican Town Committee (NRRTC) is having its annual food drive during the North Reading Townwide Yard Sale to benefit the North Reading Food Pantry on Saturday, April 27 from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the North Reading Town Hall, 235 North Street.
The Food Pantry is in need of non-perishable/non-expired food items, male and female hygienic items; toiletries such as razors, facial and toilet tissue, toothpaste and brushes, soap, shampoo and conditioner, and sunscreen lotion, plus household items such as detergent, bleach and softener.
NRRTC members will be on hand to receive your generous donations which the North Reading Food Pantry will distribute to North Reading families in need.
Please note that they WILL NOT be collecting other non-food items such as clothing and sneakers as was mistakenly stated in the print edition of the Transcript this week.
