THE NORTH READING Minitemen recognized the decades of volunteerism and leadership nonagenarian Gordon Hall has provided to the preservation of the town’s historical buildings, artifacts, and agricultural heritage by dedicating the Farm Museum at the Putnam House to him. The bronze plaque was unveiled as a surprise during his 90th birthday party held in August. It reads: “Farm Museum dedicated to Gordon Hall by the North Reading Minitmen, August 27, 2022.” The Farm Museum is a replica of the 1836 carriage shed that stood behind the Union Congregational Church.
