PORTLAND, Maine — Michael R. Tracy, 62, passed away unexpectedly December 3, 2017. Michael was born in Chelsea and grew up in North Reading. He graduated from North Reading High School in 1973.
He was predeceased by his father, Clayton “Buddy” Tracy and is survived by his mother, Joyce (Skinner Tracy) Selfridge of North Reading; his son, Michael T. Tracy of Malden, and several brothers and sisters. Michael’s siblings include James Tracy of Weybridge, Vt.; Maureen Post of North Andover; Wayne Selfridge of Caribou, Maine; Roger Selfridge of Brooksville, Fla.; Dana Selfridge of McCalla, Alabama; Robert Selfridge of Malden; Kathleen Bythrow of North Reading; Eileen Selfridge of Windham, Maine; and Thomas Selfridge of Taunton.
The family also includes brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, 23 nieces and nephews, and numerous loving aunts, uncles and cousins. Michael lived and worked with many friends of the Atlantic Hall community of Kennebunkport.
A memorial Mass will be celebrated for Michael at Saint Theresa’s Church, 63 Winter St., North Reading on Sunday, January 14 at 1:30 p.m., followed by a collation at the Parish Hall.
