Avid reader; earned 50-year Beauceant pin

NORTH READING — Aileen A. McMillan, 99, of Parsonsfield, Maine, formerly of North Reading and Andover, Mass., passed away peacefully in her home on Aug. 16, 2020, surrounded by family.
Born and raised in Somerville, she was the wife of the late Archibald J.A. McMillan. She later moved to North Reading and then to Andover, where she and her husband raised two children, John A. McMillan of Derry, N.H., and Elisabeth A. Loud of Parsonsfield, Maine. Aileen worked for the Andover School Department for many years in the Payroll Department. She was a dedicated member of the Martin’s Pond Union Baptist Church in North Reading and she proudly earned her 50-year pin as a member of the Social Order of the Beauceant.
She was an avid reader and enjoyed spending time with her family. She also left behind four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Please celebrate Aileen’s life by making a donation to the charity of your choice.
