Beloved wife, mother and mimi who volunteered with NAMI
NORTH READING — Ann A. Martino, 89, of North Reading, formerly of Wakefield, died on Tuesday, October 2, 2024 at Care One in Wilmington.
Born in Everett on June 19, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Ralph J. and Margaret G. (Shyne) Renzulli.
Mrs. Martino was raised in Everett and was a graduate of Everett High School. She had retired from AGFA in Wilmington and had worked in the North Reading Public Schools. Mrs. Martino volunteered at NAMI of Eastern Middlesex and NAMI of Massachusetts. She was active in the North Reading Cub Scouts and was a member of St. Joseph Church in Wakefield.
Mrs. Martino was the wife of the late Charles E. Martino. She is survived by her son, John F. Martino of Wakefield, her daughter, Lorraine J. Nolan and her husband George of Kingston, New Hampshire, beloved Mimi to her grandson Charles E. Martino, III, and her daughter-in-law Jerilyn Martino of North Reading. Mrs. Martino is also survived by many nieces, nephews, friends and her good friend, Edward Fuller. She was predeceased by her son, Charles E. Martino, Jr., and her brother, Ralph J. Renzulli, Jr., and his wife Margaret Renzulli.
Her funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Joseph Church, 173 Albion St., Wakefield, on Wednesday, October 9 at 11 a.m. followed by an interment at Riverside Cemetery in North Reading. Visitation for relatives and friends was held at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield, prior to the Mass from 9-10:30 a.m.
