Enjoyed knitting, crocheting and walking her dogs

WAKEFIELD — Carol A. Hrabovszky, 75, of Wakefield, died Friday, October 19, 2018 at the Melrose-Wakefield Hospital.

She was born in North Reading on October 6, 1943 and was the daughter of the late Robert and Helen (Stengel) Cook.

Carol was raised in North Reading and Belmont, and was a graduate of Belmont High School. She had been a longtime Wakefield resident. Carol was a bookkeeper for various locations, and enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and walking her dogs. She was a member of the Calvary Christian Church in Lynnfield and the Faith Evangelical Church in Melrose.

She was the beloved wife of the late Miklos J. Hrabovszky. Carol was the loving mother of Michael Hrabovszky of Methuen and Robert Hrabovszky and his wife Janice of Wilmington. She was the sister of Robert Cook of New Hampshire and Dorothy Cloherty of South Boston.

Visitation for relatives and friends was held at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Tuesday morning. A graveside service followed at Lakeside Cemetery, Wakefield.
