NORTH READING — David H. Moore, 73, of North Reading and formerly of Somerville, died Sunday, August 26, 2018 at the Lawrence General Hospital. He was the beloved husband of the late Rose Ann D. (Cristaldi) Moore.
Born in Medford on May 13, 1945, he was the son of the late John and Sarah (French) Moore. He was raised and attended school in Somerville and was a graduate of Somerville High School, Class of 1963. Dave worked for J.F. White Construction and was a 50-year member of the Laborers Union, Local No. 22.
He was known for his big heart. Dave was an avid New England sports fan. He enjoyed driving and traveling.
Family members include his loving sons, David B. Moore and his wife Judith, James F. Lessard and his wife Patti, and Michael J. Lessard and his wife Lisa; his brother, John Moore; grandchildren, Richard Moore, Krysten and Steven Demirgian, Nicholas Moore, Kimberly Moore, Rachel, Alex and Tori Lessard; great-grandchildren, Austin and Bryson Lessard.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, August 30 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Croswell Funeral Home, 19 Bow Street, North Reading, followed by a prayer service at 7 p.m. Memorial donations may be made in his memory to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.
