NORTH READING — Denis Joseph Pelletier, 91, of North Reading, died on May 21, 2021.
Born on December 14, 1929, he was the beloved husband of Nancy Louise (Dechene) Pelletier and the devoted father of Marc Pelletier and his wife Meg of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; Monique Pelletier and her husband Michael Attili of Merrimac; and the late Daniel Pelletier.
Denis was the loving son of the late Charles and Victoria (Michaud) Pelletier of Moncton, NB, Canada and the dear brother of Delia, Joseph “Leonard,” Firmin, Raymond, Yvonne, Rose, Lucien, Maurice, Bertin, Therese and Eudore.
He was the cherished grandfather of Maria (Pelletier) Janielis, Marc Jr., Justin, Jason Attili and Richard Crane, and the adored great-grandfather of Audrey and Kevin Janielis, Lucas Romano and Serena, Mya, Tyler, Lana and Xavier Crane.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 8 from 4-6 p.m. at the Cota Funeral Home, 335 Park St. (corner of Rte. 28). His funeral Mass will be held at St. Theresa’s Church, 63 Winter St. (Rte. 62), North Reading, on Wednesday, June 9 at 10:30 a.m. The funeral will be live-streamed at www.sttheresanreading.org.
Burial will be held at St. Peter’s Cemetery, 217 Switzerland Rd., Lewiston, Maine, tentatively scheduled for Thursday, June 10 at 11:30 a.m.
