Eva grew up in Somerville and was a graduate of Somerville High School. She married her husband Frank and they raised their family in Somerville. Eva was known for her active and athletic lifestyle. She played basketball, field hockey and softball and was on the swim team in high school. She rode her bicycle and was on a bowling team through most of her adult life.

Eva was an avid sports fan. If there was a Red Sox game on, she would be found in front of the TV cheering them on. She loved the outdoors and the many summers she spent at camp in Rochester, New Hampshire with her family and long-time friend, Elaine. After being a stay-at-home mom for her family, she worked in a local department store for many years.

She was also involved in her church, St. Anthony’s of Somerville, helping out at Bingo every week. She was always available to lend a helping hand wherever needed.

Eva lived a long, full and healthy life. Her kind and gentle demeanor was admired by everyone she met. We were blessed to have her for so long and will continue to pass down the family traditions she has taught us. She was always happiest being around her family, and holding and caring for the many grandchildren and great-grandchildren in her life.
