NORTH READING — Gordon F. MacDonald Sr., of North Reading, died on October 17, 2017. The son of the late Edward and Alice MacDonald, he was the beloved husband of the late Kathleen (Duffy) MacDonald. He was the loving father of Gordon MacDonald Jr. of New Hampshire, Francine MacDonald of North Reading, and the late Lisa MacDonald.
He was also the adoring grandfather of William, Clay, Kaitlyn, Michael and Kylie, and the great-grandfather of Tyler. Gordon was the brother of Francis MacDonald of Malden and the late Elizabeth McSorley and John MacDonald.
His funeral was held from the Cota Funeral Home, 335 Park St. (corner of Park St. and Rte. 28) North Reading on Monday, October 23. His funeral Mass was held at St. Theresa’s Church, 63 Winter St. (Rte. 62), North Reading. Interment in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett. www.cotafuneralhomes.com.
