Enjoyed coaching, boating, skiing and sitting around the fire pit

NORTH READING — Jay E. Valade, 53, of North Reading, died June 23, 2019 at his home, with his family by his side.
He leaves his loving wife of 21 years, Leanne (Belmont) Valade; his son, Jared Valade (20), his daughter, Emma Valade (18), his mother, Sandra (Nelson) Blessing and his brother, Jamie Valade. He was the son of the late Charles Valade.
Jay’s passions were being with his family, being a father, husband, coaching summer softball and youth hockey, being in Maine, on the boat, skiing and sitting around the firepit. He was also an avid mountain biker.
He will be remembered by his big “red bus” and all those he transported to various places and sporting events. The way Jay lived and enjoyed life was an inspiration to anyone who knew him.
