Enjoyed spending summers on the Cape

READING — Joan M. (Daly) Patalano, of Reading passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on October 31, 2017. The enjoyment of Joan’s life was spending summers at her Cape Cod home with her grandchildren.
Beloved wife of the late Domenic A. Patalano. Mother of Michael Patalano and his wife Paula of Wilmington, Brian Patalano and his wife Patricia of North Reading, Neal Patalano and his wife Karen of Pelham, New Hampshire, and Christopher Patalano and Patty Smith of Wilmington. Sister of Mary Quinlan and her husband William of Stoneham, William Daly of Reading, Leo Daly and his wife Paula of California, and late Barbara D’Orio, Vernon Daly and Theresa Prentice. Adoring grandmother of nine and great grandmother of four. Joan is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral service was in the Cota Funeral Home, 335 Park St. (corner of Park St. and Rte.28), North Reading, at Reading line on Saturday, Nov 4, and was immediately followed by services in the funeral home. Relatives and friends visited at the Funeral Home on Friday, November 3. Interment at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Arlington. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Joan’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Pl. Memphis, TN 38105. May she rest in peace.
