Beloved husband, father, grandfather
NORTH READING — John A. Bibo, 74, of North Reading and Mashpee, beloved husband of Kathleen (Murphy) Bibo, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 6, 2021.
John was the devoted father of John A. Bibo Jr. of North Reading, Lisa Taylor and her husband Mark of Tolland, Connecticut, and their children Nicholas Dooley, and Kaylie and Jenna Taylor of Connecticut, and Michelle Gerokoulis and her husband Scott of North Reading, and their children Alyssa and Amanda Gerokoulis.
He was the loving son of the late Ralph and Phyllis (Pelusi) Bibo and beloved brother of Paul Bibo and his wife Karen of Mashpee, David Bibo and his wife Nancy of Yarmouth, Mark Bibo and his wife Robin of Farmington, Connecticut, and the late Donald Bibo and his wife Gerrie of Tewksbury. He was also the brother-in-law of Eileen and Paul Nemeskal of North Reading and New Hampshire. John also leaves many loving nieces and nephews.
His funeral was held from the Cota Funeral Home, 335 Park Street, North Reading on Wednesday, July 14 at 9:30 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass celebrating John’s life at St. Theresa’s Church, 63 Winter St., North Reading at 10:30 a.m.
Family and friends were cordially invited to gather with John’s family at the funeral home on Tuesday, July 13 from 4 to 7 p.m.
