Loved spending time with family

NORTH ANDOVER — Kathleen F. (Finnegan) Simone, 79, of North Andover, passed away on January 27, 2021.
Kathleen was the beloved wife of Rodney L. Simone Sr. for 56 years. She was the loving mother of Kim Brandano and her husband Tony of North Reading; Kevin Simone and his wife Patty of Dedham; Rod Simone Jr. and his wife Cyndi of Falmouth; and the late Joseph Simone, who died at birth.
Born on September 10, 1941, Kathleen was the adored daughter of the late Robert Finnegan and Kathleen (Courter) Finnegan. She was the dear sister of Bob Finnegan and his wife Gabe of Virginia; Ed Finnegan of New Jersey, John Finnegan and his wife Kathy of Agawam; the late Tom Finnegan and his surviving wife Joan of Texas; and the late Maureen Gregorczyk and her late husband Stephen. She was the cherished grandmother of Andrew and Kaitlyn Brandano; and Bryan, Meghan and Ryan Simone. Many loving nieces and nephews, and grandnieces and grandnephews also survive her.
Kathy raised her family in South Yarmouth for many years and moved to North Andover later in life. She loved spending time at family gatherings with her children, their families and friends as well as attending the sporting events of her grandkids. She was a loving mother, grandmother, aunt and friend and will be dearly missed and remembered by all that had the opportunity to spend time with her.
