Loved cooking, jewelry making and singing

 

KEY WEST, Florida — Katie Conrad Fuller of Key West, Florida, passed away peacefully on January 22, 2024 after a long illness at the age of 66. She was born in Winchester and was the daughter of the late Marjorie Ryerson and Richard Conrad.

Katie grew up in North Reading and graduated from North Reading High School, Class of 1975. She went on to college at Vermont State where she received her degree in Human Services. Katie always loved cooking and decided to pursue her passion. She trained as a sous chef and worked in many restaurants in New Hampshire, Maine and The Keys.

She had a wonderful talent for jewelry making and loved painting. Everyone loved her Santa ornaments, which she made from baby coconuts. Katie could sing like an angel. She was a talented guitarist and enjoyed playing with friends in various clubs.

She leaves behind her son, Matthew Pietrucha, of Sparta, N.J.; her sister, Susan Conrad Oliva, of North Reading; and three brothers, Richard Conrad of North Reading; Peter Conrad of Beverly; and John Mutch of Waltham.

A Celebration of Life will take place in Key West, Florida in the near future.
