NORTH READING — Kevin P. Valente, 29, of North Reading, passed away unexpectedly on July 14, 2018.

Kevin arrived in the world on July 6, 1989 in Boston, just one minute behind his twin sister Kimberly. He was the cherished son of Alexander and Gemma Valente and part of a large and loving family. Kevin was raised in North Reading; he attended Our Lady of Assumption grade school in Lynnfield and was a graduate of St. John’s Prep. High School with the Class of 2008.

Kevin, who loved nature, always looked forward to his many outdoor activities. He enjoyed snowboarding, riding his snowmobile, swimming, cruising in his jeep with the roof and doors off, and living life to the absolute fullest.

Kevin was a “people person” who could have a conversation with anyone. Young or old, he could relate to everyone and their needs. Kevin had a wonderful personality, a great sense of humor and the ability to be the “life of the party” wherever he went. He was fun-loving and enjoyed making people laugh especially at the most inopportune times.

Kevin will be fondly remembered for his kind heart, his ability to make everyone feel welcomed and for his unwavering love and devotion to his family and friends.

Kevin’s passing was sudden and shocking but his spirit will forever live on in the lives he touched. Kevin was truly loved and will forever be missed.

Kevin was the cherished son of Alexander and Gemma (Petrucci) Valente of North Reading, beloved brother of Alexander Valente, Jr. and his wife, Anita Kwong, of Stoneham, Russell Valente and his girlfriend, Lindsey Roseman, of Boston and his twin sister, Kimberly Valente of North Reading. He was the dear grandson of Jeannette and the late Francesco “Frank” Valente of Wilmington and the late Philomena and Nicholas Petrucci. Kevin is further survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Family and friends will gather for a service on Friday, July 20 at 12 noon at the Nichols Funeral Home, 187 Middlesex Ave. (Rte. 62), Wilmington. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, July 19 from 3-8 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Kevin’s memory may be made to the Buddy Dog Humane Society, 151 Boston Post Road (Rte. 20), Sudbury, MA 01776 or to an animal rescue of your choice. www.nicholsfuneralhome.com.
