Devoted to her family
EAST BOSTON — Letizia (Cosi) Gallotto, 86, of East Boston, passed away on December 29, 2017.
The beloved wife of the late Antonio Gallotto, she was the devoted mother of Gilbert Gallotto and his wife Lisa of East Boston, Ottavio Gallotto and his wife Lina of North Reading, and the late Ottaviano and Mariantonia Gallotto. She was the dear sister of Giuseppe Cosi of Triease, Italy and the late Antonio, Gino, Francesco, Vito, and Giovanna. She was also the cherished grandmother of Anthony, Gilbert, Marina, Cristina and Julia and is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Family and friends honored Letizia’s life by gathering at the Ruggiero Family Memorial Home, 971 Saratoga Street, East Boston, on Wednesday, January 3, and again on Thursday morning before leavings in funeral procession to Sacred Heart Church, Brooks Street, East Boston for a funeral Mass in celebration of Letizia’s life. Services concluded with Letizia being laid to rest with her beloved Antonio at Woodlawn Cemetery in Everett.
