HAVERHILL — Richard A. Nichols, 64, of Haverhill, formerly of North Reading, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 17, 2021 at the Merrimack Valley Hospice House in Haverhill after a lengthy battle with multiple sclerosis.
Richard was the son of the late Mildred (Lunt) and Lionel Nichols of North Reading. He was the brother of Brenda Shafer and her husband Erik of Illinois, the late Kenneth Nichols of North Reading, Wendy Trecartin and her husband Dave of New Hampshire, and Sandra Nichols and her partner Craig of Beverly.
Richard is also survived by his son, Shaun Nichols Sr., and his wife Julie, as well as his grandchildren, Caige, Breyin, Shaun Jr., Blaize and Jaslyn, all of North Andover, and his daughter, Danielle, and his grandson, Quincy Martinez.
