Loved the outdoors

NORTH READING — Scott Anthony Welch, 33, passed away unexpectedly on August 8, 2019.

Scott grew up in North Reading until the age of 16 when he moved to Erie, Colorado. He moved to Alaska in May of 2017 to follow his adventurous side and love for the outdoors.

Scott is lovingly remembered by his parents William and Dot Welch; sisters, Nicole Jordan (Steve), Kayla Martinez (Corey) and Samantha Baros (Michael), all of Colorado, and Kerrianne Welch of Arizona; nieces and nephews, Isabella, Olyvia, Duke, Chase, Brylee, Trent, Loralye, Nathaniel and Maverick; and grandparents, William and Camille Welch and Dorothy Gillis, all of North Reading. He meets his grandfather George Gillis in Heaven. He also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends.

A dedicated Mass in memory of Scott will be held on Saturday, September 14 at 9 a.m. at St. Theresa’s Church, 63 Winter St., North Reading.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 5 at 10 a.m. at LifeBridge Church in Longmont, Colorado.
