A family-oriented woman who loved the ocean, music and dancing

CHELSEA Virginia M. (Fobert) LeClair, of Chelsea, formerly of North Easton, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 4, 2021 at the Kaplan Hospice House in Danvers. She was 82 years of age.

Born in Winthrop, Virginia was the daughter of the late Leo and Helen (Higgins) Fobert.

Virginia was a health aid with Brockton Visiting Nurses Association for over 20 years, primarily caring for hospice patients. She loved the ocean and vacationing in Plymouth for many years. She especially loved music and dancing. Most importantly she found joy in the little things and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Virginia was the beloved wife of the late Hadley LeClair and is also survived by her former husband Carmen Conti. She was the cherished mother of Christina Mogni and her husband, John; Michael Conti; and Laina Simone and her husband, Mark. She was the devoted grandmother of Christopher Mogni and his wife, Marie; Robert Mogni, Johnny Mogni, Allie Conti, Autumn Conti, Julia Simone and Jessica Simone. She was also the dear sister of Thomas Fobert and his wife, Patricia; the late Ernest and Leo Fobert and the late Leona LaFranchise and Paula Gately. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are kindly invited to gather and share memories with the family on Thursday, October 7 in the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (Rte. 28), Stoneham, from 4 to 8 p.m. Parking attendants and elevator available.

A funeral Mass celebrating Virginia’s eternal life will be held in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St., Stoneham on Friday, October 8 at 10 a.m. Please meet directly at church.
