THE HEAVENLY AROMA of freshly baked bread — 450 loaves of Italian scali bread from Piantedosi’s — greeted parishioners at the St. Joseph’s Bread Table outside St. Theresa’s Church after being blessed by Bishop Mark in honor of St. Joseph’s Day on March 19. Saturday’s 9 a.m. Mass was the last large gathering held at the church prior to the governor’s ban on groups of more than 25 people was enacted to reduce the spread of the novel coronavirus.
