Don’t miss the Albany Berkshire Ballet’s classic production of The Nutcracker this holiday season. Featured above is Annie Kuperstein who will be dancing the lead children’s role of Clara in the company’s production.

Annie will be performing on Sunday, December 11, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. at Lawrence High School. She is the eleven-year-old daughter of Peter and Kristin Kuperstein of North Reading and is a sixth-grade student at North Reading Middle School.Annie has been dancing at the North Reading School of Ballet under the direction of Lisa Pulver for the past nine years.

This will be the 18th season that the Albany Berkshire Ballet has presented their Nutcracker locally. The Albany Berkshire Ballet is a professional ballet company based in Albany, NY with a satellite school in Pittsfield, MA. Auditions were held in September with over 100 children from many local dance schools who were seeking to perform with the professional ballet company for this year’s production. In addition to Annie, there are several children and teens from Reading, North Reading, and surrounding communities who will be performing various roles in this year’s holiday classic.

Local performances will be held on Sunday, December 11th at 3:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. at the Lawrence High School Theatre, which is located at 70 North Parish Road, Lawrence, MA.

Discounts are available for groups, seniors and children under 12 years old. Additional tickets will be available at the box office one hour before each performance.

About ABB: The Albany Berkshire Ballet (ABB) was founded in 1960 and has performed throughout the Northeastern United States and Canada. They have been featured on Good Morning America, Dance Magazine, and have performed at Jacob’s Pillow under the artistic direction of Madeline Cantarella Culpo.
