Patricia-Anastasi-obit_webMELROSE — Patricia A. (King) Anastasi, 92, of Melrose, died at the Melrose-Wakefield Hospital on Sept. 2, 2017. 

Patricia was born and raised in Danvers and was a graduate of Danvers High School, Class of 1942. She resided in Danvers until 1947 and Melrose since 1952. Pat was a devout Catholic and member of the Church of the Incarnation in Melrose for many years. She enjoyed playing bingo at the Milano Senior Center in Melrose and spending time with her cat Mitzy. Pat contributed to many charities; loved to go to the Hilltop Steakhouse with her husband and brother; and loved spending her time with her grandchildren and great grandchild. 

She was the beloved wife of the late Alfred J. “Fred” Anastasi for 56 years. She was the loving mother of Paula Buehler and her husband John of Melrose; Mark Anastasi and his wife Paula of Connecticut; Jane Kelly and her husband William of Rhode Island; and Peter Anastasi and his wife Teresa of Melrose. She was the caring sister of Phyllis Runnals and her late husband Ralph of Peabody; and the late John King and Richard King. She was the cherished grandmother of William, Christopher, Robert, Kathryn, Emily and Hannah. She was the great grandmother of Elizabeth. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
