LYNNFIELD — Peter Laurence Croke (“Crokie”), 61, of Lynnfield passed away suddenly on August 29, 2023 at his daughter’s home in Reedsville, Pennsylvania.
Peter was the son of the late William M. Croke and Marie A. (Bond) Croke and stepson of the late Blanid M. (Dolan) Croke. He was the brother of William M. Croke and his wife Kim; the late John C. Croke; the late Timothy J. Croke and his wife Deborah; and Louanne Croke Canty and her late husband Kevin M. Canty.
He was a loving father to his daughter, Shaylee M. Croke, and stepfather to Shane A. Hall; Shawn A. Hall and his wife Chelsea Hall; Shannon C. Hall and Shayann N. Hall. “Grandpa Pete” will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Sonny and Levi and his step grandchildren Trinity, Nevaeh, Brayden, Lucas, Christian, Shanelle and Bentley. Additionally, Peter will be missed by his ex-wife, Christine L. Croke, mother of Shaylee and his stepchildren; and girlfriend and companion of the past several years, Kathy Pascal.
Peter graduated high school with the Class of 1980. Upon graduating, Peter furthered his education at Bridgton Academy before entering Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston.
Pete’s family meant the world to him. Pete enjoyed hockey and was a big-time Bruins’ fan. He will be remembered for his selfless kind-hearted soul who will leave a mark on all of our hearts.
Services for Peter will be held Friday, September 29, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Assumption, 17 Grove St., Lynnfield.
