USMC veteran with local survivors

NEW YORK — Peter L. Lambert of Manhattan, N.Y., died Dec. 21, 2015. He was the cherished brother of the late Carol L. (Lambert) Murphy and her husband Patrick D. Murphy of North Reading and the late Sister Patricia Lambert, CSJ. He was the son of the late John T. and Catherine (Butler) Lambert and the loving uncle of Denis V. Murphy and his wife Ann of Winchester, N.H., Patricia A. DiBlasi and her husband John of Lynnfield, Kathleen M. Baumer and her husband John of Holliston, John J. Murphy and his wife Lorraine of North Reading, Patrick D. Murphy and his wife Robin of Haverhill and Kerry M. Dempsey and her husband Tom of Tewksbury. He is also survived by several great–nieces and nephews and great–great–nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service was held on Saturday, Jan. 9 at 11 a.m. at the Douglass, Edgerley and Bessom Funeral Home, 25 Sanborn St. (corner of Woburn Street), Reading. A visitation was held prior to the service. Burial was private.
