K9 ACE and his handler, Lynnfield police officer Ray Barnes, recently visited the Senior Center to introduce the new policing team to local senior citizens. An inquisitive 2-year-old Belgium Malinois, he was bred specifically to excel at police work. Ace joined the force in August after graduating from K9 training school with Barnes. Ace's certified patrol skills include tracking, evidence recovery, apprehension, handler protection, agility and building searches.
