THE Wakefield Basketball Association (WBA) just completed its 26th season of existence providing an in town basketball league for boys and girls, grades one through eight. The WBA recently held the season ending “Super Sunday” on March 1. Congratulations to this season’s teams champions. The champs were: Boys’ Third and Fourth Grade, Capone Landscaping; Boys’ Fifth and Sixth Grade, The T Stop; Boys’ Seventh and Eighth Grade, UConn; Girls’ Third and Fourth Grade, Big Jon’s Pizzeria; Girls’ Fifth and Sixth Grade, Hinchey Bros. Plumbing and Heating; Girls’ Seventh and Eighth Grade: The UPS Store.
