WAKEFIELD — Anyone who’s ever dreamt of wandering through a roomful of pizza, with abundant access to all different variations of the world’s most perfect food … dream no more. Instead, come to Melrose Rotary Club’s fifth annual Pizza Palooza on Saturday, April 1, at the Melrose Veterans Memorial Middle School cafeteria, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Partnering with Melrose Rotary for the event will be members of The Bridge: A School Community Partnership, the group that matches volunteers in the community with needs in the schools. The Bridge is also the sponsor of the recent wildly popular Annual Trivia Bee. The Bridge will help Rotary sell tickets and staff the event, and, in return, will share in the profits. Among the Pizza restaurants that will participate in the Palooza extravaganza are Alfredo’s, Bobby C’s, Comela’s, Gerry’s, Greenwood House of Pizza, Melrose House of Pizza, Papa Gino’s Petrone’s, Schoolhouse Pizza, Stearns and Hills Bistro, Theo’s, Whole Food Market, and Wood and Fire. Tickets for Pizza Palooza cost $10 for adults and $7 for students, with children under 6 eating free. The ticket price includes unlimited servimgs of pizza, one beverage, and one dessert. Tickets are available at Miter Biter, 479 Main Street, or at the door.
