NORTH READING — Chief Michael P. Murphy reports that on Wednesday, Oct. 7, the North Reading Police Department arrested a Woburn man on charges of distributing drugs.
Alex E. Cores, 26, of Woburn was arrested shortly after 7:30 p.m. and charged with:
• Distribution of a Class D Substance, (Marijuana), three counts.
• Distribution of a Class C Substance, (Hash Oil).
All four charges are felonies.
“This arrest comes after a detailed, diligent investigation by North Reading Police Detectives, and I am pleased that it has come a successful conclusion,” Chief Murphy said.
Cores was held at the North Reading Police Department pending his arraignment Thursday, Oct. 8 in Woburn District Court. (These are allegations. All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty.)
