WAKEFIELD — Police assisted motorists with exchange of papers yesterday morning at about 8 a.m. after one vehicle’s side mirror was taken off by another vehicle while on the Route 128 exit 42 off ramp.

Just before 9 a.m. yesterday morning, police received a report of a man wearing a yellow vest going into the bulkheads of multiple homes. Police were unable to locate the man but noted that a Wakefield Municipal Gas & Light Department truck was in the area and the description of the man matched that of a WMGLD employee.

At about 3 p.m. yesterday afternoon, a caller reported a possibly intoxicated man on Albion Street wearing a gray sweatshirt, jeans and a Dunkin’ Donuts apron. Police checked on the man and sent him on his way.

At about 5:30 p.m. yesterday, police were called regarding a past road rage incident at Elm and Prospect streets. The caller said that one of the involved individuals had since parked in a driveway on Elm Street but police were unable to locate the vehicle.

Police assisted with the exchange of papers after a minor car crash on Main Street just before 6 p.m. yesterday.

At about 8:45 p.m. last night, a woman called police and reported a tall man dressed entirely in black walking through yards in the neighborhood of Curtis and Preston streets. Police were unable to locate anyone matching the description.
