MELROSE — Melrose Youth Soccer (MYS) would like to applaud all of its players, coaches, volunteers and fans for another great season. In a year like no other, they are so proud of the patience, flexibility, dedication, hard work and love of the game that their community showed.
MYS had a very exciting end of the season with 18 teams finishing in the top four of their division and qualifying for the Middlesex Invitational or the Massachusetts Tournament of Champions (MTOC) Qualifier the weekend of June 18-20. MTOC is only for 5/6 and 7/8 graders in Divisions 1 and 2.
The 7/8 Girls and Boys Team 1 – Division 1 both qualified and went on to compete for a top spot in the state with 11 other teams at the Massachusetts Tournament of Champions (MTOC) June 25-27.
