computer-recycling-webLYNNFIELD — All welcome to Our Lady of the Assumption Church electronic recycling day on Saturday, May 30 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.  at 40 Grove St., Lynnfield.

“This is a great opportunity for everyone to recycle,” said organizer Jim Wood.

Electronics being accepted include: monitors, computers, computer games, stereo equipment, copy and fax machines, ups, printers, microwaves, dehumidifiers, TVs and any item that has a plug.

Appliances being accepted include: air conditioners, washers, dryers, stoves, refrigerators, exercise equipment and grills as well as lawn mowers and snow blowers with the gasoline removed.

The fees for each recycled item are as follows: $5 each for computers, $10 any monitor or small TV less than 19 inches; $15 for each TV between 19-  and 26 inches, and $20 each TV over 26 inches as well as wood console TVs. Projection TVs are $25 each. TVs 32″ and larger are $30 each.

Most appliance are $10 each except large refrigerators will be $25.

Free bicycle recycling

Free drop off for any cell phones, bicycles or car and truck batteries to keep them out of landfills.

Please bring any unwanted bikes of any kind, new or old, in any condition to parking lot to be reused again. “Our main goal is to keep bikes out of the wastestream and put them back on the road again,” stated Wood.
