LAWRENCE — Robert A. Santoro, 59, of Lawrence died on May 28 at the Lawrence Memorial Hospital.
Robert was born in Melrose on August 11, 1957, and was the son of Joan C. (MacDonald) Santoro and Peter A. Santoro.
Robert was raised in Wakefield and was a graduate of Wakefield High School’s Class of 1975. He was a resident of Lawrence for the past 32 years. He had worked for Dunkin’ Donuts and Heavenly Donuts.
He was an active member of Wakefield Elks Lodge and participated in Bingo and was a former Pop Warner football coach for many years and also enjoyed local high school sports.
He was the husband of the late Denise N. (Pronovost) Santoro. In addition to his parents, Robert is also survived by his sons Sean Santoro and Michael Santoro. Robert was the brother of Debra Karalis, Connie Wallace, Peter Santoro Jr. and Julie Chick. He was the grandfather of Geremy Stevens.
His funeral service will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Saturday, June 10, at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
