YORK, Maine — Robert M. Gearin, 58, of York, Maine, died on Friday, November 16, 2018 at the York Hospital in York, Maine.
Bob was born in Melrose on February 13, 1960 and was the son of the late Robert P. and Barbara (Hayes) Gearin.
Bob was raised in Wakefield and was a graduate of Wakefield High School, Class of 1978 and later graduated from Northern Essex Community College. He was the owner of G&G Concrete Construction of Wakefield which he operated for 32 years. He was a past member of the Wakefield Elks Lodge and enjoyed playing Bocci.
Bob was the beloved husband of Anne M. (Hartman) Gearin. He was the loving father of William J. Gearin of Kittery, Maine, Kristen A. Gearin of Kennebunk, Daniel R. Gearin and Michelle H. Sule and her husband Cortland both of Wakefield. He was the brother of Michael Gearin, Kathy Farren, Christine DeFelice, Marianne Moses, Patricia Hurley, Barbara Gearin and Maureen Peard.
His funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Tuesday, November 27, beginning at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass in St. Joseph Church, 173 Albion St., Wakefield at 10 a.m. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the funeral home, on Monday, November 26 from 4-8 p.m.
